I have been a member of Body Buster since January 2016 and I wish I had become a member sooner!
I was starting to get bored of exercising at home or at the gym and needed something more. What I love most about Body Buster is that each class is different. The instructors are always introducing new exercises and equipment and for me, that’s key to keeping things interesting and most importantly, the classes are always so much fun!
I have noticed a huge change in my body since I started Body Buster; I have lost inches and my clothes fit better. I have also seen improvement in my muscle definition, endurance and feel stronger than I have in years.
I choose to stay with Body Buster because I know I am always going to get an amazing work out. The instructors are great and are always pushing you to go beyond what you think you can do. It’s such a welcoming environment and I get so much support and encouragement from my fellow Body Buster members.
I have learned so much from being a Body Buster member. The instructors, especially Dani and Huy, have shown me how to challenge myself and see more results. They are constantly showing me how to go to the next level, just making small changes can really help to see results.
It’s so important to me to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. I want to stay healthy for my family and to keep doing the things we love, especially hiking and travelling. I feel healthy and strong and I want to live life to the fullest.
If you are looking for something new, then Body Buster is the program for you. You will see results and enjoy each class, even when it’s difficult. It can be so hard to try and work out on your own, especially when life gets busy. It’s always best to be around people that are going to support you and give you the motivation to keep going.
I joined Body Buster in November 2015. Each class is unique, the variety is unlike any fitness program I have tried. You really never know what to expect—except a great workout. I joined Body Buster in November 2015.
Each class is unique, the variety is unlike any fitness program I have tried. You really never know what to expect—except a great workout. Apart from that, the trainers and co-members are great, there is always such a positive atmosphere which keeps me motivated.
I don’t weigh myself but since joining I have been able to use clothes that I thought I would never fit into again.
But when I think about the strength and endurance I have gained, my weight loss pales in comparison. I started with 2 lbs. weights and now use 7 lbs. I think I’ll be up to 10 lbs. by the end of the year.
I think I’m addicted. I even don’t like our weeks off!
While I have weighed less before, now I’m in the best physical shape of my life. I’m stronger, faster and more flexible than ever.
Of course weight loss is a big factor but it’s not why I have stuck with Body Buster— I’m overall a happier person and have gained self-confidence.
I received an important piece of advice when I was in my late teens. Getting older was just a distant concept and I thought I could engage in unhealthy choices and just take care of my health when was older. The advice was to be healthier as an adult, taking care of yourself when you are young is imperative. I didn’t take that advice to heart then but it has always stuck with me and now I have put that into action.
Also, my grandmother is turning 93 this summer and while she never exercised rigorously, she always remained active and took long walks daily until her late eighties. She says remaining active is a huge factor for longevity. And she’s a healthy 93-year-old, still living on her own and till this day incorporates walks in her daily life.
Don’t be intimidated because it is a “boot camp”. It’s a really positive atmosphere for anyone, at any fitness level. And results are guaranteed!
Body Buster is only one hour out of your day but it’s a long-term investment in your health. It’s a simple cost-benefit equation. If you can’t commit to a program, start small. Even if it’s a brisk walk or short bike ride. It’s true what they say, once you start exercising and get those endorphins, it’s addictive and you will wonder how you could go so long making excuses.
I came for the weight loss but stayed for the endorphin high.
I remember during my first class I heard Dani give a more difficult exercise option for “die hard” members. I thought to myself I wish I was one and how do I become a die hard? Now I know it just takes time and perseverance. Some classes I can only do the modified version of exercises. On other days I can do way more than I expected. Body Buster has taught me to listen to my body and be kinder to myself.
Thanks so much to the whole Body Buster team!

I have been with Body Buster Fitness since 2014. It’s been the best decision I made and the best 3 years of my life.
I like the flexibility Body Buster Fitness has to offer. I have a very active active lifestyle with 3 kids, completing my degree online and working running my mobile dental hygiene business. Body Buster Fitness accommodates my schedule, and their flexibility with make up classes is a great benefit to the program. Kim is an amazing instructor and the team of trainers create a positive atmosphere to the workout sessions. Their willingness to help me achieve my goals is something I value most as well as their understanding that we all come from different backgrounds and lifestyle.
I joined Body Buster to become healthier and to increase strength/muscle mass. Having a mobile practice with heavy equipment, I need my body to perform at a level where weight training would help me lift things without injuring myself and have strong core muscles that I have built in the program has been a huge asset to my work environment. I have definitely seen the results of the muscle mass I’ve built in inches around my shoulders, arms, and legs.
Body Buster is a part of my life. I feel like its my workout family with all my fellow members and trainers its been a very comfortable environment to help achieve fitness and health goals. Going to the gym and working out, looking in the mirror while working out is quite boring and since joining Body Buster, I would never go back to the gym for many reasons. Firstly, I really like that it is outdoor depending on the weather, having sessions outside in the fresh air and nature takes my fitness to another level. As well as the variety in every session, its different every time from tabata workout, to ladders and the list goes on. The exceptional trainers that offer a variety of workouts and comfortable, fun environment allow me to not only enjoy my workout session, but reap the health benefits at the same time.
Body Buster is part of my life and defines who I am. People often think boot camp in a negative context, but Body Buster boot camp sessions are nothing but positive, Kim and the team of trainers offer modifications to exercises, and encourage you during each session and for some that may not be important, but it makes a difference to my attitude and willingness to work harder during the sessions. I also like that the class times also are convenient with our schedule, my husband and I work out during the 6am sessions, which is a great way to start our day together. Its a unisex class and I’ve never felt intimidated to have male workout members.
For others who want to know more about Body Buster Fitness, it’s fun, positive, indoor and outdoor, and the best fitness experience I have ever had, it’s everything I want and need. Their bonus classes, member appreciation sessions bring a friend, all are great qualities I value, it took me a year to get my husband to join Body Buster and the bring a friend and try out the class is a great way for others to get a feel for what its all about.
Overall, there is nothing negative I can say about Body Buster, very professional, personable trainers and I can’t ask for anything else, so I am a member for the rest of my life!!

Kenna, exhibits all of the qualities we, at Body Buster are looking for in a Bootcamper of the Program!
Not only has she made Body Buster an active part of her life for the past 3 years (and counting), she’s also welcoming to new members who join her class. She always has a kind word of encouragement for her fellow classmates and a positive attitude in any challenge thrown her way by her Instructors. Kenna’s dedication to her health, increased fitness level and overall well-being is evident each and every class she participates in. Congratulations once again to Kenna, for this awesome and inspiring achievement – Body Buster’s July Bootcamper of the Program!
Here is what Kenna is saying:
Three years ago this month, I joined the Body Buster Fitness Program at the age of 60.
Up until that point, I had been using and abusing my body as a Registered Nurse for 35 years. Throughout my career, I sought many remedies for my sore back: physiotherapy, acupuncture, massage therapy, all of which were only short-term remedies.
When I joined Body Busters, I quickly learned the key to a good back is a strong core muscle.
Franklin Horner is close to home and the flexibility of time slots was suitable to shiftwork.
The program gives me a sense of belonging and I feel very comfortable with my fellow Body Busters and trainers.
Hanging around young people helps me stay youthful!
Now that I’m retired, Body Busters is a big part of my morning routine (unless I’m golfing of course!).
My eating habits are more regular and healthier (no more chocolates, cookies and cakes from patients’ families!), resulting in a 15 pound weight loss.
Some may remember my joke “any trainer that can give me a 6 pack, I will buy them a house.” No house bought yet so I’m continuing…

I joined Body Buster in November of 2015 so soon to be 2 years – it has flown by!
What I like most is the format – or lack thereof if you will. The instructors obviously come with a plan for the class but each class is different so for me I go with a sense of excitement to see what type of class it is going to be that day! Sometimes it is more cardio, sometimes more weight training and sometimes an even balance of both, but they are all great.
I don’t own a scale so I cannot say how much weight I have lost from a pounds/kilos perspective, but I can say that some of my older clothes fit again and when I am buying new clothes I am down a size or two.
I initially signed up for a three month “trial” if you will but after the first month I knew I wanted to continue with Body Buster and promptly signed up for a year and then another. I choose to stay with the program bc of the variety of classes, my amazing instructors (shout out to Travis, Emily & Kara!!), and the people I have met in class that are so encouraging & fun (you know who you are!!).
Since joining I would definitely say my energy levels are up. I participate in Body Buster twice weekly but also try to fit in some of the challenges that are thrown out to members each class and by being more active bc of BB I am more active outside of BB too. I am out more with Layla-Lou (our dog-ter) and use the treadmill on a more frequent basis – even if just for a quick walk/run in the mornings, on weekends or on the off week.
I am also more mindful of what I am eating and am definitely drinking more H20. It started with just being mindful on class days so I would feel my best heading into class, but I noticed I felt better those days and so this mindfulness has become more of a “way of being” for my every day life.
I feel I have gained a healthy outlook on fitness and an understanding that it doesn’t have to be boring. I used to go to the gym very regularly but there was no one there to encourage me or push me and so what would often happen is that I would take the easy way out. What I mean by that is that when it came to weights I would use 5 pounds for bicep curls or tricep push backs when I knew it was too easy for me or I would just use the treadmill to walk when I knew I was fully capable of running. Why would someone do that? Because it was easy and I was bored so just did what I knew and there was no one to hold me accountable so why not?! At BB the instructors help with form, have introduced me to so many new exercises and have seen my strength levels increase so they encouraged me to increase my hand weights so I can continue to see improvement.
I would also say that by joining I have made new friends. These two nights a week are just time for me and I appreciate showing up a little early to catch up with the girls prior to heading into the workout. We encourage each other and that type of environment is amazing when it comes to me wanting to go back every week and sign up for another round of programs.
It is important to live an active and healthy lifestyle because I have the opportunity to influence so many others around me – at work, with my friends and with my family. I don’t think of myself as a role model per se, but by sharing my experiences with Body Buster or with trying a new healthy recipe or the impact I feel by drinking a ton of water every day I am helping others with an understanding that they too can feel better about themselves by making small changes in their lives. And for me, I think it is important to lead an active/healthy lifestyle becasue there is still so much I want to do with my life – I love to travel and there is much of this world I still need to see. I want to be able to enjoy it and can only do so by staying healthy!
I would say come and try it. Even just once. You will be hooked bc of the friendly environment, the helpful instructors and the fun/engaging/challenging classes. I am SO not a group exercise person – or at least I thought that was me – but trying it out made me change my outlook. I think trying it could help change your outlook too!
You owe it to yourself. It is one hour of your time twice or three times a week so really, how can you not take this time to improve your life and have the opportunity to live your best life? By being a healthy you, you will be a better you for all those around you!
The time since joining has just flown by and I don’t even question myself about signing up for another round bc it is just obvious that I will. It is fun. It is encouraging. It is about me for one hour twice a week and there is no other time in my day/week that I can say it truly my own.
