“The Body Buster classes push me farther than I would ever push myself alone and has made me realize I am stronger than I think and results are possible. You feel like you have really accomplished something after each class and it makes you want to return again and again.”

I originally started with Body Buster 3 summers ago but couldn’t commit once summer ended due to work commitments. I changed jobs in summer 2017 and along with the change in job came a change in lifestyle. I’ve been with Body Buster ever since and don’t see that changing anytime soon.

The thing I love most about Body Buster is that I get an extremely challenging full body workout without having to think. I use to have a gym membership and I have tons of exercise equipment in my basement but I always had a hard time deciding what exercises to do to ensure I was being challenged and working the right muscles. I was not seeing the results I wanted until I joined Body Buster.

I wish when I had first joined that I weighed myself and did measurements so I could track my progress but I didn’t. What I do know is that I feel stronger, am leaner and my endurance has improved. I remember the first time I did the 1 km run and I couldn’t run the whole way. Now, I can run faster and farther than ever before.

I continue with Body Buster for a few reasons. The first being that I’m so impressed with the creativity the coaches have in order to make the classes fun, challenging and never the same. They know how to tailor the workout for those that are just starting out vs those that want to push themselves to new limits. Secondly, the classes are close to home, making it hard to make up an excuse not to go. Also, since I work from home it is great reason to get out of the house and be social with all the other amazing members.

I have always been an active person but never liked working out and going to the gym. I always new it was a necessity to stay healthy but I was not a person that enjoyed it … until now. I never thought I would be that person who wants to workout and now I actually crave it after a day or two without a workout. Working out and seeing my progress has also made me want eat healthier. Now I am not going to lie, I love eating and have definitely not gone to any extreme measures but I am more mindful. After consultation with the coaches, I tweaked my meal plan to reduce my sugar intake and added more protein into each meal which I think really has made a significant impact on my progress.

Nothing is more discouraging than spending money on gym membership or equipment or workout DVDs and not seeing your efforts pay off. The body buster classes push me farther than I would ever push myself alone and has made me realize I am stronger than I think and results are possible. You feel like you have really accomplished something after each class and it makes you want to return again and again.

There are so many things with your health that you cannot control but having an active lifestyle is one that you can. I want to ensure that I am doing everything I can to keep my body healthy so that down the line there are no regrets.

It is nothing like going to a gym, which can be so impersonal and intimidating. The coaches are very supportive, it is obvious they love what they do and really do care about you and your goals. There will be times where you don’t think you can do one more rep or one more burpee but the coaches are there cheering you on and the other members are just as encouraging.

There are definitely times when I have an internal struggle of whether or not I should go to class. But what gets me there is thinking about how good I feel after each class and that never once have I thought to myself, I should have stayed home. When I am really stressed out about work, those end up being the classes where I push myself the hardest, feel the most accomplished and end up going home feeling a thousand times better.
