Kenna

Kenna, exhibits all of the qualities we, at Body Buster are looking for in a Bootcamper of the Program!
Not only has she made Body Buster an active part of her life for the past 3 years (and counting), she’s also welcoming to new members who join her class. She always has a kind word of encouragement for her fellow classmates and a positive attitude in any challenge thrown her way by her Instructors. Kenna’s dedication to her health, increased fitness level and overall well-being is evident each and every class she participates in. Congratulations once again to Kenna, for this awesome and inspiring achievement – Body Buster’s July Bootcamper of the Program!

Here is what Kenna is saying:

Three years ago this month, I joined the Body Buster Fitness Program at the age of 60.

Up until that point, I had been using and abusing my body as a Registered Nurse for 35 years. Throughout my career, I sought many remedies for my sore back: physiotherapy, acupuncture, massage therapy, all of which were only short-term remedies.

When I joined Body Busters, I quickly learned the key to a good back is a strong core muscle.

Franklin Horner is close to home and the flexibility of time slots was suitable to shiftwork.

The program gives me a sense of belonging and I feel very comfortable with my fellow Body Busters and trainers.
Hanging around young people helps me stay youthful!

Now that I’m retired, Body Busters is a big part of my morning routine (unless I’m golfing of course!).

My eating habits are more regular and healthier (no more chocolates, cookies and cakes from patients’ families!), resulting in a 15 pound weight loss.

Some may remember my joke “any trainer that can give me a 6 pack, I will buy them a house.” No house bought yet so I’m continuing…
