I have been a Body Buster member for 13 months now and I still find every class a challenge. Up until I joined the Body Buster Program, my fitness journey had plateaued. The current program I was engaging in failed to provide me with the results I was looking for and I was eager to find a change. When I drove past a Body Buster class in action I figured I would give the program a try for a month and see if it was the change I was looking for. That was over a year ago now.

Personally, what I enjoy most about the Body Buster Program in comparison to other fitness classes is the way it pushes me to accomplish more than I thought was possible in my fitness journey. In particular, I have lost over 10 pounds since I have started the program and I feel stronger than I have in years.

Therefore, I will certainly be renewing the full year program at Body Buster as I truly can not imagine not having such an engaging and rewarding program in my life.

I would tell someone who has never take the Body Buster program before just to try it for a month and you’ll be hooked!

Lastly, I would like to personally thank my instructor for all of her support as I would not have gotten this far without her help.

I have been a body buster member for almost 3 years. I joined with the intention of just trying one session, as my kids were young and my home life was busy but 3 years later I’m still going!
The thing I like most about the Body Buster Program is that every class is different, so you never get bored. It’s a great stress relief, and a time during the week that I get to focus on myself and my goals. It’s a great group of people, of all fitness levels that come together with a common goal to improve overall health. I’ve never kept track of weight or inches lost, as my goals have always been set around decreasing stress and improving in stamina and strength.
My membership has continued for as long as it has because it keeps me focused and on track with my fitness goals. Despite the crazy schedule that having a young family can bring, Body Buster keeps me committed to my health. I can always make time for my classes whether it be the morning class before I go to work or the evening class to destress after a busy day. The instructors have always gone above and beyond with flexibility in my schedule to ensure that I can always make it work!
The program has made me feel confident in my strength and abilities. It has pushed me physically and I’ve noticed great strides in my cardio and overall strength. It’s a great way to start or end your day and puts me in a good place mentally and physically!
By committing to Body Buster I have developed a new routine where I make my health and fitness a priority. I’ve set goals and been able to reach them but most importantly I’ve met some great people and had a lot of fun!
If you’ve never taken a Body Buster class I encourage you to try it! I did and I’m still going strong 3 years later!

I signed up for Body Buster in May 2014 with the intention of completing only one… maybe two sessions over that summer. Two and a half years later I’m still going!

Some people do well on their own but I need the support of a group setting to keep me accountable. So what I love most about the program are my co-bootcampers and the team of amazing trainers. I also like the sense of fun that’s built into the program and the variety of workouts. I especially enjoy being outside in High Park in the summer – it feels so good to be among the morning community of walkers, joggers, cyclists, and bootcampers.

Though I’ve never kept track of measurements or pounds on the scale, I definitely notice muscle and definition where there was none before! I’m really enjoying the changes in my body and what it is now capable of. I actually feel strong – which is a far cry from where I started.

I stay with Body Buster because it’s the only fitness program I’ve managed to stick with! I was never motivated to push myself at the gym and in the end wasted alot of money on memberships over the years.
Though I’ve always lived a fairly healthy lifestyle in terms of what I ate, the exercise part was lacking and I felt bad about it. So after working out consistently 3x a week for over two years with Body Buster, I can say with certainty that I’m in the best shape of my adult life. I feel good physically and it feels even better to no longer have that mental battle going on in my head. This program is honestly the best gift I have given myself.
The best part about being a member of Body Buster is that I no longer think of exercise as such a monumental task… Though it’s taken a long time for me to get here, I can finally say I (somewhat) enjoy exercising! Recently I started running on my own, and while at work, I often take the elevator down 10 floors and run back up the stairs to my office. I’ve even gotten some of my colleagues in on it now too.

For me, living a healthy and active lifestyle is important because I want to feel good as I get older, and frankly, I want to live as long as I can! Most of all, I want to be a role model for my 8-year-old son. (A balanced lifestyle also lets me enjoy the fun things in life without the guilt, like wine and cheese – in moderation, of course!)
I was so nervous about my first day I could barely sleep the night before. I envisioned a lot of yelling and not the most nurturing environment… and I was reeeeally out of shape. It didn’t take long for the jitters to subside because Jamie, Huy and Dan were so encouraging, and seeing the various fitness levels and ages of other participants took some pressure off. I quickly found out you can make progress at your own speed and it becomes kind of addictive!

Yes, waking up to get to a 6 am class is not easy – but it becomes a habit and you feel so good when it’s over. There’s so much flexibility at Body Buster with the variety of times, locations and opportunities to do make-up classes. I tried evening classes for a while, but in the end, the mornings work better for me – which is still kind of shocking because I’m really not a morning person! For most of us, there’s no excuse to not exercise. Make time for yourself and find what works for you!

The amazing staff is what makes Body Buster so great: Huy, Emily, Rob, Dani, Dan, Travis. Your energy, expertise, and encouragement gave me confidence when I had very little. (The only time I don’t like you is on ball day… and when you make us use sliders!) Thanks for all you do!

I joined Body Buster Fitness in May of 2016. It was a friend that signed me up for a one month program. To be honest I was not very happy about it and scared as heck. I knew I was really out of shape and it would be very hard. I have never played sports or been an “athletic” type, so joining in on a boot camp seemed ridiculous for me.
Before I started Body Buster I was noticing a huge decline in my health and strength. Things that I use to do without thinking had become difficult such as running upstairs, squatting down or even dumping a bag of dog food into the storage container. I was starting to feel old. I don’t mind getting old I just didn’t like the way I was feeling.
I did 1 month at first and yes it was hard, but what I noticed is that I stopped hurting on a regular basis and I could run up the stairs without any effort, garden and haul dirt for a day without being out of breath. So, when my inside voice said you need to sign up for 6 months and continue I listened. (I usually only listen to my inside voice when it says” sit on the couch, eat popcorn and drink wine.”)
What I really like about Body Buster is that you have set times you are committed to, this keeps you on track and accountable. I love that I don’t have to worry about being in time with music, I can just focus on the exercise at my own pace. I work at home so sometimes when I get caught up in a project I don’t leave the yard for days or even go outside so having the class outside is great. I also like that class is constantly changing and it is never boring.
Now that the 6 months is up I have resigned for the year program. My over-all health and strength has improved greatly. As I approach a milestone birthday this year I am not afraid of feeling old instead I am excited to see how far I can push my non-athletic body. I have not kept track of inches or pounds lost, in the past I have only exercised to lose weight and if that doesn’t happen it is very hard for me mentally so this time I decided to make it about fitness and if I lost weight that would be a bonus.
I would highly recommend the Body Buster Fitness program to anyone at any fitness level. Kim, Breanna and Emma have a wonderful way of calmly encouraging you to push your limits. They quickly can make changes to the program if you have an injury or need an alternative exercise. I was worried I would be judged by the others in the class but instead I felt encouragement and motivation from my fellow boot campers. Body buster has been the best fitness program I have ever been a part of, I look forward to the next year of classes and I am excited to see the changes that continue.

It’s hard to believe I’ve been a Body Buster member for 10 months already. I’ve never stuck to fitness routine this long before.
The best part about Body Buster is that I just have to show up and the instructors take care of the rest. I enjoy the camaraderie of the class and how welcoming and encouraging everyone is. I love that every class is different so I never know what to expect.
By combining diet and exercise, I have lost 20lbs so far!
I have just renewed my membership for another 6 months and I’m sure I will be a Body Buster lifer. It’s the only fitness class I can say I actually enjoy and I have noticed huge results. I also like the flexibility to be able to make up classes.
Before I started with Body Buster, My knees and back would often be sore. I didn’t realize it at the time but it was due to being inactive. Since joining Body Buster, those aches and pains are gone. I see it in small things too like being able to run up the stairs or go for a walk and not be out of breath. The mental results are also noticeable. If I am feeling stressed out or anxious, nothing feels better than a night at bootcamp.
I have gained so much confidence in my physical abilities since joining Body Buster. I realize now that I can do it! I have also gained an overall healthier attitude and lifestyle.
To someone who has never taken a class before, I would say give it a try, you won’t be sorry! I was nervous about attending my first class as I had never done a bootcamp before and it sounded intimidating. Believe me, if I can do it, anyone can do it!
Body buster has changed my life! I would like to thank all of my instructors but especially Kim. I really appreciate your knowledge, support, kindness and gentle disposition. You truly are an inspiration!
